Online Teen Hang Out

Sunday, July 14th | 3:00 – 4:00 PM

Teens with autism are welcome to join us online to chat and play games! Please sign up to receive Zoom information.

The Teen Hang Out monthly groups take place once a month on the second Sunday of the month from 3:00 – 4:00 pm. The group is for teens, ages 13 – 18.

Trivia Night

Trivia Night will resume in September.

Join the Autism Society of Greater Wisconsin and the Fox Valley affiliate for a night of trivia questions! Each month has a different theme.  The event will begin at 6:30pm over Zoom. Individuals and families are welcome!  RSVP is required. Click below to register.

Online Adult Support Group

Tuesday, July 9 & 23 | 7:00 PM

This online support group is for adults with autism (ages 18 and over). It’s an opportunity to meet other autistic adults in a casual & welcoming environment, to share experiences, resources, challenges, triumphs, and to lessen feelings of isolation. The group is peer-led.

The group will typically meet every two weeks on Tuesdays at 7:00 pm.

Dads’ Virtual Support Group

Sunday, July 21 | 7:00 – 8:00 PM

This virtual group is a monthly opportunity for dads, grandfathers, and other male caregivers of autistic children to network, share experiences, and learn from one another.

The group will typically meet on the third Sunday of the month from 7:00 – 8:00 pm.

New to Autism Virtual Group

Monday, July 15th | 6:30 – 7:30 PM

The New to Autism Group is a monthly virtual group for parents/caregivers of children that have been recently identified as autistic. Join us to connect with other parents for a casual discussion about shared experiences, community resources, and to learn more about the Autism Society. The group will be facilitated by Kelly Brodhagen, Resource Specialist and mother to three sons, two of whom are on the autism spectrum. Sign up to receive Zoom login information.

The group typically meets the third Monday of the month from 6:30-7:30 pm.

Film and Media Club

Saturday, July 6th | 10:00 –  11:00 AM

The Film and Media Club’s purpose is to foster discussion and community around the topic of film and video production, as well as visual media history. Participants are also encouraged to use this time to show their work, and discuss their creative processes.

This program is for Autistic teens/adults of all levels of experience and interest. This group is aimed at students ages 13-19. Meetings are guided by Cole Kirkendall, a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee’s film production department.
